There is a software company that makes a program to collect statistical information from eBay. (Since eBay only goes back 30 days or so, I believe this software accumulates this data as time goes on.)

What it does it establish # for sale, Price range and average, selling price, yada yada as a function of time so you can see overall trends and cyclic ones too!

Pretty cool - I would think that the Viper info would be very useful.

I know the NADA book lists Vipers much lower (5-10k) than what people ask for them - but this is for cars sold thru auto dealerships. I expect that the big Viper dealerships get more, perhaps $5k more than the NADA estimates because of their selection and reputation.

I think I am going to keep my NADA subscription for Classic, Collectible and Special Interest Appraisal because if has all of the amazing cars in it!

Heck, maybe I'll pick up another Viper so I can be like Chuck.

Now that would be sweet. Only thing is how would I decide which one to drive on any particular day?

There's a rd/sv coupe that is owned and signed by Winston Cup driver Bill Elliot. The vin was in the ad so I ran it through the computer and sure enough it's owned by Bill Elliot Racing. dj
