There is a software company that makes a program to collect statistical information from eBay. (Since eBay only goes back 30 days or so, I believe this software accumulates this data as time goes on.)
What it does it establish # for sale, Price range and average, selling price, yada yada as a function of time so you can see overall trends and cyclic ones too!
Pretty cool - I would think that the Viper info would be very useful.
I know the NADA book lists Vipers much lower (5-10k) than what people ask for them - but this is for cars sold thru auto dealerships. I expect that the big Viper dealerships get more, perhaps $5k more than the NADA estimates because of their selection and reputation.
I think I am going to keep my NADA subscription for Classic, Collectible and Special Interest Appraisal because if has all of the amazing cars in it!
