Just installed tips purchased from Vipermed. Tips look much better than the one's on Snake Oyl. Putting them on was not fun. I didn't want to slant the exahust too much but now I am concerned that the tips may get too hot for the rear fascia. So far, the tips are about 0.5" away from the plastic - is this too close? After driving, I noticed that the panel gets pretty darn hot but not to a point of burning. Should I move them down?

Thank you

Looks like plenty of room to me. Mine are just as close & I shoot flames out about 5 foot from the tips without melting anything. Of course my stripes get a little discolored. :smirk:

Rule of thumb is a thumb. If you can fit your thumb between the exhaust tip and any part of the facia (all the way around), then you should be OK.

You shouldn't have any problems SB. Mine are closer than that and I haven't had any problems so far.

I just bought a simiar set-up from Vipermed. I will let you know how it turns out. I think that your set up looks fine. Good luck.
