Service manual says to "Tighten the wheel mounting stud nuts in proper sequence until all the nuts are torqued to half specification. Then repeat the tightening sequence to the full specified torque of 122 N.m (90 ft. lbs.)."

The sequence is an alterating pattern AFTER you start with the nut on TOP, then go to the lug on the bottom, then skip to the right upper side nut, then left lower nut, then right lower nut, then left upper nut. I personally use this method as well...and retorque at 5 miles then again between 25-40 miles...all to 90 ft. lbs.
