My GTS has been lowered, wider tires, aggressive alignment, Stoptech brakes. Handles great but I've never raced a Euro so I don't have anything to compare it to. Viper handling is criticized very little. Stock setups tend to push. 325s up front stops that.

since my car is a 2001 acr. my suspension is race ready for the most part. i just need to dial in a little more negative camber in the front. i will be getting a extra set of acr wheels and i will use a full on race slick. i have a road race brake system on order from dilusi motorsports. 6 piston caliper front (13.30 x 1.38 vented and slotted rotor) and 4 piston caliper rear (13.00 x .81 vented and slotted rotor). unfortunately i have been waiting for 5 months now. it seems there cnc machine broke and they are having 2 subcontract work.

What rims do you use to put that kind of rubber under the front? Do you just use a rear rims all the way around? If not can you or does the offset not allow it?

You cannot use the back rims on the front.

Viper Days Michelin Challenge Series requires Michelins of course.

I wish I would have gone with 18 all the way around, but at the time 18 front and 17 back was the hot setup. If there was any benefit I wouldn't know it.

Fast Freddy don't buy another set of ACR wheels for racing unless you have to have the stock look. Buy race wheels that you don't need to get hyper about everytime you try to get tires mounted. You will be getting tires often. If you plan on running slicks than you may want to invest in a set of Competition Coupe wheels so you can buy the new slicks that Hoosier is making. I think they should fit without a problem.

hey thanks 4 the advice richard. you are right. not only that but the acr wheel is only available in stock sizes. i want to got to a 18x11 inch rim in the front. so i will either go with your idea or purner wheels.
