Track wheels and tires??

Anyone find track tires(road racing) in the stock sizes for the SRT, and what are they? Same question for wheel, anything reasonably priced out there?

If you are serious about tracking the SRT, better address oil pickup issues and THEN go for track wheels. Those that fit the COMP COUPE should work well...

Mike, if you use 18" wheels you also need to remove the emergency brake calipers. Not heard of any decent track tires in 19" so that may be the only option at this time.

Dilemmas, dilemmas someone will solve this issue sooner rather than later—hopefully. Where and when there is money to be made people usually get creative and make things happen.

sylvan - this might not help you out too much, but I would recommend CCW. They are great track wheels and can make any size you need.

I'm with JKD, don't wast your money on Forgelines..call John Purner and he will make you any size you need and do it right...he is not a salesman...he's an engineer. His customer support is the best in the business!

Purner told me: He has nothing right now that will work without mods. I was looking for autocross wheels.

ok assuming we find a wheel that will work on the rears are there track tires in this size for 19"?

Luke at Tire Rack told me last week he did not know of any competition tire (below 140 UTQG) available for a 19" wheel. Right now Michelin makes the only tire that fits the Viper rear wheel.
