We have been to our "local" Featherlite dealer a couple of times in the past 2 weeks getting some work done on our trailer. The dealer, Golden Gait, is the largest Featherlite car hauler dealer in the country. They have persuaded Featherlite to make a limited run of some enclosed ALL ALUMINUM 24' and 28' tag trailers. Prior to this, tags were constructed with plywood floors and had to be upgraded (read: $$$). These will have extruded aluminum tubular floors.

This should be the lightest and longest lasting trailer on the market, as the ONLY steel is in the subframe near the axles. They also have great resale.

He had quoted a VCA member a price of $11K for a 24', v nose, all aluminum with 6' ramp extensions (no Viper nose scraping!) They can do any and all customization on site.

If you are in the market for a trailer and need by VOI, let me know and I'll put you in touch with the right folks. Trailers are built and headed to their shop.

*** Disclaimer - not affiliated with Golden Gait in any way other than happy customer. At least 3 other Viper club members have purchased Featherlite trailers from them with similar results. ***

If you like the Featherlite, Take a look at Exciss trailers. Their flatbed with optional fairing looks extremely similiar to the trailer this board uses as an icon on the classifieds page of this website. The cost is about $4K.
They also have aluminum enclosed trailers priced amazingly low!

Exiss is a good trailer - all aluminum - light enough to pull with an SUV...

Going to the site shows a 24' tag discount priced at $12K with 0 options.... (not including $600 ramp door extensions) and its a flat nosed front, and FOB Oklahoma - figure another $600 for delivery.
