Spoke with an insurance broker today about insurance. Parts for an insure track car / race car will only be covered if the car is covered. The spares must be in a secured building with security & direct contact to the police station. CC can be insured under the same conditions and can also obtain transit insurance while going to & from the track. Once i enter the gates of a track all insurance stops. No coverage of the spares, either, once i load the spares into the trailer insurance stops. When i leave the track insurance picks back up. Now the kicker....If i decide to stop at a hotel for sleep with car in trailer....Uninsured, due to vehicle not being attended....From what i can tell....We are basically on our own...Self Insured...I will contact others to see what they say.
