Trans in 08 Viper Convert?

Hi all,

Looking into skip shift eliminators...but read that there is a different trans in the 08 vs the 09/10 vipers?

also, it shares a trans with the 08 challenger SRT?

so...which trans is in it?

The basic transmission is the same. What you are referring is the Electronic difference in the car wiring that doesn't allow a traditional skip shift in the 09's and 10's.

You have slightly different ratios than the 09-10 too.

Yes...the two I also got on eBay were listed for an '08 Challenger. But it worked on both of my '08 Vipers...one a convertible and one an ACR. What a pleasure to be able to totally forget about the skip shift feature. Keep in mind that the instrument panel light still illuminates but no skip shift occurs...and no codes are thrown. Mike
