You're probably not going t find a lot of help. I've never seen these on a viper (pictures or in person). What seems to be the problem? Do you have pictures of the issues?

I wouldn't drill anything to install those.. Do the Viper community a favor and send them back... You want to cover up one of the coolest features of the car. Sorry for being honest.....

I just looked at the mounting instructions. They refer to an adhesive promoter and the pictures look like an adhesive is used between the edge of the grills and the fascia between the support brackets. The screw at the top and the support brackets would be used as more durable connections. There are some adhesives on the market that might be of use, but the screw/rivet mentioned might be a sturdier choice.

By the way...there are haters out there for anything aftermarket that you want to do to your viper...screw them...if you like it, then that's good enough.

They use adhesives instead of spot welds these days so I'm sure and adhesive will do the job. Ask at an auto store if they have something.

Why all the hate? He didn't ask for opinions on how they look, if you don't like them don't post :) Black windshield urethane from the parts store will work to glue them on, and is semi-permanent(it'll have to be cut off). Fuzor also make a wide variety of adhesives to provide a permanent bond, they can be bought at any auto body supply store.

Hey Bruk, If You Like'em Bud Put'em On, That's ALL that Matters! Looks Like You Paid A Few Coins for Them so If I Was You Just Put them On & See How Much You Like'em BEFORE You Make Them Permanent! Also, If You Like Bling the Viper Store IS the Place to Go! jmo!

I agree. If you like them put them on. Not my thing, but again it's not my car. that store has a lot of exterior goodies I wouldn't mind

Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier, but 3M also makes some tremendously strong double sided tapes. They use it for mounting body kits and stuff, so it should work for your grills. It's strong, but is still fairly easily removable if need be.

That is what I use...it works great....AND my Viper has those on it that the previous owner put on it for car shows and everyone likes the way they look and even other Viper owners when they see them in person....when the hood is up they really look sharp and very nice touch to the Viper so they do not look gaudy and ugly and ridiculous and take away from the beautiful look of the GTS...a very nice touch for shows...they are delicate so raise the hood and close it very slowly as to not rub the paint and bend the fancy new pieces, but they straighten up very easy with your hands reshaping them when bent so get them...Mine has the $480 set and looks great...you can see a picture of mine on the Viper on my Facebook....prostreet64vette....or Roy Harrigill.....check them out....Chip...the picture of my Viper you saw on my Facebook the other day with the hood up at a recent parking lot display......they are there to easily see......the shot taken from up in the air of my Viper.....
