Trunk latch help

I just bought a 2008 coupe. The trunk latch does not work and the rubber piece that you push came out and will not go back in. The mechanism inside is missing. Any ideas on how to fix or who would have these pieces?

You can get one at viper parts of America. That happened to mine and was fixed under warranty.

Do you have the part number? Exact same thing happened to me. Got a quote of $500 to fix it from the dealer (warranty expired). Wondered if I couldn't find a cheaper option. Thanks!

Don't have anything yet. I emailed Viper Parts of Am to get info on fix and pricing. I have no warranty left either.

Get a warranty!!! You have up to 48 months after your in service date to add on, even if the 36 month original has expired. You can add up to 7/70 plan. Then go get car fixed....under warranty.

If this is $500 to repair at dealer, that is 1/3 the cost of the warranty. If your window regulator goes out, $750 per side. It can add up pretty fast in a Viper.
