Trunk Lift

Does anyone know of a simple solution to adding a trunk lift so the door stays open. Was trying to put soft top in trunk (alone)
and was flubbing with the lid. 2000 RT/10.

Check with Jon B at PartsRack. There is a gas strut that is made for the trunk lid.

It's not perfect...you still need to lift the trunk lid up to a certain height while opening and then the strut kicks in and can handle the weight.
