Trunk Problem!

I need help! The other day my trunk stopped locking? It closes fine but its not locking? I do not have anything in the truck to stop it from seating all the way down? I also tried it with the top up and I get the same results? I hate the idea of having to bring to the dealer.

Any ideas or suggesstions?

Try unlocking it either manually or with the key fob. It may be in the locked position with the tunck open.

Armorgod - not quite the same thought. Not yet anyway as I still have 3.07 and no headers. But the rest I have covered!

I minor adj. should fix it. I had to sort of slam mine shut, a bit harder than I liked, and sometimes very hard. I adjusted the striker, and all was well.

You would think the oh so heavy beast of a trunk lid would latch with it's own weight. Heaviest trunk I ever seen, and it's made from composite material!!

I had the same issue that Skip had... did the adjustment and all is fine.
