Need to replace both trunk supports before I loose my head.............

Why would you not think to call the parts guy at your local Dodge dealership to order a set? If they are NLA s/he will give you the correct part number and you can look online. I bought a set a couple of years ago at the dealership, no big deal.

RockAuto is actually a pretty good reference too. I believe the stock shocks are Stabilus brand, though they are semi-unique in that they actually have the Viper logo on them. I'm guessing the standard Stabilus ones wouldn't, but they would likely be the same exact specs as far as strength and lengths.

I replaced mine (2003) with duplicates from HotCarAccessories.com. They were easy to install and after a year still work fine.

I got mine from the dealer last summer for my 2005. Didn't have any problems ordering & replacing

Yep, ordered online 38 bucks for both and an easy install. Feel stupid now. Not the first time.
