Bought them from snake oyl..Just turn the templates around and use them for the otherside..Be carefull of the factory trunk prop though when drilling.

I put a second strut on my RT after I added the Mopar wing and found that the trunk would slam shut with the new added weight of the spoiler. I installed the second strut just as you described - flipped the template and no problems. Alternatively, there may be a replacement strut with a higher load rating.

Yes, I installed ONE "higher load rating" strut (60 pound) on my RT with Mopar wing. I find it very adequate; although, I won't deny that 2 might provide more lift. I do think that you must still manually lift to get to the "push" point where the strut will take over, and the heavy duty one is fine.

On my 1994 (sold) i only had the one,And it held it open but that was about it..
But with 2 once you open the trunk and lift it about 3" to 4" it will then open all the way on its own.

STUGOTS -
Read the thread - it was stated (about 4-5 posts up) that 2 of the Snake Oyl struts work well. Place a second one on the other side.
