TT Roe Racing Viper for sale

Ya'll are going to think I'm nuts for doing this, but my wife is ready to divorce me over this damn car/build. Just built - 500 Miles on the Motor done by Sean Roe's crew. For sale at seriously stupid price. I just need to sell and move on. Please pass around to anyone you know who might want a beast of a car for half of what it should cost.

I would even say 70%.

Why is that?

I have no idea and wonder why myself as I hope to one day go TT. Some say it's due to the "been there, done that" mentality. Some say its due to drivers being scared of the car. I've seen some owners sell due to issues with the car. Such as overheating.

Kind of scary considering you are dropping $25,000 on work

i would think its both mechanical issues that become a constant money drain, this broke that broke, so often we read motor was just freshened up ($$$$$), etc and frustration along with that and also being scared of the car that trying to kill you.....

Generally speaking, if you're happy with the driveability of a relatively stock Viper, then you put some big mods in it, it won't be the same car. Better in some ways (e.g. power) but more frustrating in other ways.....idle, driveability, overheating, weak-link issues etc. If you're OK with adapting to the negatives to enjoy the positives you've done the right thing. If not, you sell and move on. Stock Vipers can be really solid, dependable cars.....1000 HP ones, not so much. But when they're working well, they're awesome ;-)

My '96 twin turbo is also for sale through BJ Motors and has all the safety, power train, engine, etc mods you can think of. Safety was #1 for me because Yvette always rides with me. However our club like the hill country drives and road courses and this car was just not a huge fan of that. I even upgraded to gen4 wheels with super sports and KWv2 shocks with custom end links and suspension tuned by a ViperCup race team. Still going around those large turns and you get it above 3k rpm those turbos kick in and it is a different animal. I love road courses so I bought a ACR. Someone will get a hell of a street fighter with my car though. Handles great and power for days, with some NOS if needed.

Well said. Also not to single out the Viper, but with any car, when your doubling and even tripling the power these platforms come with from the factory, having issues is normal.

Everyone thinks its easy and maintenance free having a 1,000whp Supra. I assure you it is not.

As for too much power. I think thats different with every person. Me personally, I feel good with 800-1100whp.
