After all the hype leading up to the event, we're all curious as to what happened and how everyone did. Give it up guys, let's hear about it already.

I'm sure Prashant or someone will post more details, but in brief, and from memory, this will give you a feel for it.

Vipers took all the Viper-Vette classes, there were a couple Vettes there laying down some great times (9.7XX's), but they didn't make it all the way through. SW's Z07 broke at the line for the Unlimited class finals. The other fast Vette, a LPE car with 427 cubes, had tire problems and had to retire early too.

Tough times for some of the Viper guys, as Albert and Heidaker both had problems and ran in the 10's. Steve Ueligger turned in a 9 second run in his fresh-out-of-the-box TNT prepped car, but shifting problems kept him out of the finals (he's still getting the feel of it). David Wilks laid down a great 10.4xx run on street tires in Sean's GTS. ALL CAPS NORM had his HMS car sounding good and running in the 10's, saw a 10.8xx but think there may have been better runs. Jeff Helms ruled stock class with his 12.0xx runs in his 2000 ACR.

We are all running a little late. San Antonio is 3 hours from where most of us live. That's like 3 states away for you East Coast guys.
