UAW Car Show in Fenton Sunday 5/4/08

[RX VIPER]

On Sunday May 4th we've been invited to again participate in the UAW Car Show. This is the car show that last year our club had the most vehicles in attendance and we won the free pizza party and drinks at the Stratford Inn. Let's go for two years in a row! We will meet at the QT station at I44 and Bowles across from the Chrysler Plant at 10:45 am and drive over together to the Union Hall. The details on the show are below. [/font]

The Viper's were put in class 9 (1982-present) 6 trophies were handed out in this class and the Viper's got three of them. Our club's Sue was 2nd with 95 pts. I had 94 pts. and Charlie 93.

I saw Sue's snake(s) and maybe two others still there when I stopped by around 3:30. If any of you who were still hanging around noticed a guy on a bike pedaling around the parking lot around that time it was me.

I had to be at work at 4:00 but I just wanted to cruise by and see some of what was there.

Did you win the pizza party again for the most club vehicles in the show?

Yes, I saw you cycling around the Vipers. We were sitting in the shade up against the building waiting for the trophies to be given out.

No, they did not give away the pizza party this year......no donations. I guess we ate and drank too much last time and they didn't want to chance it
