ugly door carpet fix?

Does anyone out there make some sort of metal covering that is the same color as the shifter handle to cover up the door carpet? Somesort of aftermarket part? I have the connolly leather and the orange carpet on the door is even uglier than the black carpet....

Either black leather with cognac stitching or some sort of solid panel.

Can't you just shave the carpet where it looks "frayed"? I thought there was a post on this recently? Thought most liked the way it looked after getting a shave.

bring it to a car audio place and tell them to carpet with the same stuff they use for speaker boxes. looks alot better.

I posted on this a few weeks ago with little reply. Seriously, the carpet on the doors looks terrible. I can't believe that with all the aftermarket companies who view this forum, no one has created a simple cover for the doors. I also think the e-brake looks awkward and cheap, has anyone replaced the e-brake? If so, what make and model?
