Very Impressive Joseph and Paolo!!! A beautiful system with great results, and there is more left in it.

Paolo, is CPE hiring?? :2tu:

Nicely done gentlemen.

There is probably more in it if I add more boost. At the moment, that would require changing out the wastegate spring which i'm not sure i want to do. we'll see...

thanks for the kind words! This is pretty conservative and "safe" power on my motor... we'll see how it goes from here!

Very impressive #'s JD! I have always wondered how streetable that much HP is? What tires do you run that will actually grab the pavement and not lose traction? I will "only" have around 700rwhp after my blower/nitrous is installed and I have heard Kuhmo's will lose traction at that HP.

As long as one doesn't treat the throttle as an on/off switch, the power is quite managable. BFG's or Kuhmos help a lot too. will I ever top out 1st gear w/o spinning... probably not except at the track.

i had 965rwhp before and it was managable... but i didn't get there overnight. went 400 to 550 to 700 to 850 to 965 to 1180 to 1380. but i didn't get much learning time between 1180 and 1380.

ask me again in a couple of weeks. :)

JD, congrats on that Silver Beast! :2tu:

How much cooler does it run compared to the SC setup from before?
Streetable power like JD said takes some time and learning how to control the throttle.

I can't imagine the feeling from a 3rd gear roll with that power! :headbang:

Kumhos are a must!

Re: Updated CPE #\'s - yowee! 1385/1367

I never logged intake air temps on the old set-up, but the current setup (i'd removed the turbo heat shields) is 120-130. when i put the heat shields back on, i expect it will come down a bunch. we shall see...

i have no idea what the intake air temps were on my old setup, though. i'd never measured... wish i knew, though!

awesome results - be safe and enjoy!!

I'd be surprised if you get traction until the top of 3rd gear with the best of street rubber - 4th with normal rubber... in fact I think you could lay rubber in 4th at will....

rubber is a terrible thing to waste

Awesome! Lets see some pics.

Ian, here's one

:2tu: That's one bad looking *****!

Paolo, is there a difference in the kits that use the box tubing from the intercooler compared to the setup that was on the creampuff?

Ian, the bigger turbos use oval tubing to accomodate the 3" compressor outlets. The smaller turbos use 2" round piping.

The dyno graph says it all. Very impressive numbers.
Get that beast to the drag strip and hit some low 8's...

Thanks again for all your help and feedback on my SRT-10 project.

Very nice, guys! Paolo was degraded by others and he prevailed. I love it!
