I just bought a set for ~ $900...although I'm starting to think it was high, as the header/collector (or whatever you want to call it) is welded to the old 90 degree angle pipe, which was cut a few inches below the flange.

Im able to buy a set of B&B's for 700. I can get used Good heads $3500, and used T&D's and Cam for $700 each. good deals or not?
what should i look for on the used heads/cam/rockers?

I suspect that used headers don't come up too often. As for if they'll fit Gen1 & Gen2 I suspect they should, as Gen1 guys are installing the 1998+ tubular factory headers (as opposed to cast iron manifolds - yipee!) on their Gen1 cars (probably why headers are giving the most HP gains on the Gen1 cars).

Also I'm not too sure I'd buy a used cam or roller rockers, I don't think the cost savings outweights the potential failure risk.
