Andrew,

I have a 94 but mine fit fine. Give Biff at call at V-mania he has always be very helpful to me. I got his hardtop as well and the windows fit great with it.

Good luck,

Ken

My windows have no problems. I would suggest to first see if you are both pushing down the whole window enough so that the hooks catch and if you are slideing it back enough. The rear pillar hooks are flush to my windows...hope this helps a bit.

One side of mine (passenger side) is still too tight, and I am also afraid to file it any more. Once the season is over, I will send the windows back to Biff for any adustments, etc, that might be required. He has been more than helpful already, and is always more than willing to work with me. The window pins I'm sure, will vary from one car to another, and there is only so much that he can do with the notch to begin with.

Andrew,

I had all kinds of problems with my VMania windows. I assume its not fitting with a hardtop (upper window gap). I adjusted my window sockets in the door, custom weatherstripped my hardtop, bent the windows some more for a better fit, trimmed the passenger window weather stripping to keep it from bowing out at the bottom, and put in a snap button on the window pillar with matching snap on the window strap because the velcro didn't work well. After all this its almost like having real windows.

The windows fit really well with the softtop, but were obviously a real pain with the hardtop. If I was to do it again, I would have sent Biff his windows back and bought northwind or the factory 96 windows. Biff backs up his products, but with these hand built cars sometimes they just don't fit right.

That said I think my windows look pretty good now and my car is almost weathertight. Its almost like having a car with real windows.

I to had a problem with having to file down the hooks on my 94.
I was nervous that I would file them down and they would not
hold, but they have so far. I was DEFINETLY pushing down hard
enough on them as well. I was afraid I would break the door as
a matter of fact.

I used a Drammel to file. I took of more than 1/16-1/32 and seem
ok. Hated to do it though.

I am going to try and do something to fill the gap that is open in the A Frame. Leaks really bad there and wind noise. Any Ideas would be appreciated

One side fit fine on mine. The other side required a little flat filing. No big deal. Biff talked me through it on the phone. Almost 2 1/2 years and no problems since.
