I used the radio fuze. Get some fuze taps from Radio shack. Depending on the sales person he/she may or may not know what they are. You pull the fuze place the tap on the fuze leg and re-insert the fuze. It gives you a male connection for a spade clip. then run the wire where ever you want.

Thanks! Should I be taping in to that wire or should I go with a radio or cigarette lighter cable?

Adam it would be better if you used the switched power (the blue wire) and I also reccomend that you have someone shorter do the job for you, it is a back twister and you are taller than me. HAVE FUN!!

Blue wire will be OK for JUST the radar detector. Any larger current draw and you will need to add a relay. The Blue wire is actually easier to get to than the radio wire. If you lay on your shoulders and look straight up, you will see it.

(You will need to first remove the underdash cover. 5 screws I think?)
