Hello All,

Utahviper (Todd Wilhite) can't make it to Bradenton for the V10 Nats due to traveling time (40 hrs 1 way, 80 hrs round trip) and is unable to meet the expense of shipping his car to Florida. I asked him how much would be needed and he came back to me with a figure of $1,500.00

Now we all know Todd's car made some incredible passes in TX and I'm sure we'd love to see his smiling face once again while he's running off with most of the trophies. If you can swing it, we're taking donations to make this trip happen for Todd. Thanks!

Well there you have it, Todd! Start packing, my boy. Give me a call tomorrow and I'll see what Reliable, Exotic and Horseless have to offer. Thanks Roof!

Are those not considered event fee's? Maybe I misunderstood...I was thinking something else because he offered to pick up the tab for SVSi? Maybe I've had too many pain meds for my back and should go to bed...

I'm good for a $100. It's worth $100 bucks to me to take the fastest street tire car title back from Todd with him there in person with his car  ME

With a 10 second Viper, 13 second brand new tow truck and $ 1000 dollars in travel cash from the last event.......I don't see what the issue is here.

What about folks like Trent, Toothdoc, Cragin, Brad N., and the rest of the crowd from the West?

I think what we need is a West Coast swing. I have a deal secured with the NMCA that I will be announcing soon that will encompass 8 national events, spanning the entire country over the course of the year. I have planned these in conjunction with the V-10 Nationals and Dr. Roof so that they do not interfere with each other, but add an additonal venue for us to use.

Like Roof, this is not MY venue, but a venue for the Viper community.......at no cost to us! other than entry fee at the events. These events already have advertising, personnel, safety safari, simple and effective class breakdown, awards programs and a great following of established racing classes from mild to the wildest on the planet.

I will share more over the coming weeks.

Entry Fee's is what I meant. The SVSI is was coming from Ill. Just some Gas and Hotel not several Thausand Bucks.

I will do all I can but if he comes to defend the sreet Tire shoot-out and wins that is at least $500 and a set of tires. he can sell the tires for at least $400.00 all we need know is $600.00 Bucks.

THanks for the support guys! I am not a charity case but it is sure a lot of money to spend on going to a viper race. I believe it will cost about $3200 round trip for the transport plus miscellanous expenses. I would rather save the money and spend it on some parts for my viper than for travel expenses. The last race cost me quit a bit and the winnings just helped to pay for some of it.

Larry asked me what it would take so I told him. I didn't think he would post something. If I can come up with $1500 I am willing to come up with the rest but Tom has a point, what about all the other viper owners in the west. It is probably not fair to them for me to get special treatment.

Tony, we will run head to head soon and it should be very interesting. I am interested to see how your new intercooling works.

If I can come to defend my title successfully I would be happy to donate my winnings to a charity or a viper fund for future events. I just can't assume I am going to beat everyone in the street tire competition and spend my winnings before I actually receive it.

Thanks again!!

Since the VCA is a sponsor of the race, possibly they could use their vast influence and arrange a deal with one of the car carriers as they did for VOI7. Granted one race may not be that tempting, but if one trucking company got all 6 races for the year it might be worth it. I know I would pony up the dollars, if it was something like $1500 per race, to have the car shipped rather than spend 25 hours in a truck with Cudaman and Macedo.
