I found you can buy a used one with 12 months warranty off them, though they dont advertise this fact.

you can buy a reconditioned unit for less than full price and they come w/ full warranty and assy's. i dont know what the savings is.

Interesting... I've never received any discount and the unit never saw that airplane. At $400 a pop, shouldn't it have have some extra sense that sees planes at 17,000 feet! j/k
