VALENTINE ONE WIRING QUESTION

I HAVE READ MOST OF THE POSTS ON INSTALLING THE VALENTINE 1 ABOVE
THE REAR VIEW MIRROR AND ROUTING THE WIRING (FOR A DIRECT WIRE CONNECTION) BEHIND THE INNER WINDSHIELD MOULDING AND DOWN UNDER THE DASH. I DID A LITTLE PROBING ON THE MOULDING AND FOUND IT PRETTY HARD TO REMOVE. AS I PROBED ON THE MOULDING MY HORN HONKED!!
I'M A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT GETTING THIS MOULDING OUT AND ALSO POSSIBLY SHORTING OUT SOME WIRES THAT OBVIOUSLY ARE ALREADY THERE. I HAVE A GEN I RT. ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I wrapped some black double stick tape around the wire every 8-10 inches or so, then I just gently pushed that up into the gap. The wire tacked up real nice and disappeared and in over a year has stayed put. I wasn't comfortable trying to pull the moulding out, I always seem to break the fasteners in my other cars...not gonna do that on this one!
