Keith, Does anyone make a model for our year and color?

I haven't seen any for Sapphire. Nor have I seen Red/Silver, Silver/Blue, Grey/Silver, Black/Silver, Yellow/Black, or Graphite/Silver. You can always buy a cheap model and paint it. For the stripes, just tape off where you want them to be.

NEW IDEA: I'd like to see what Sapphire and white look like. If I find a 96-97 Blue and white model, I'll do it.

Dear Viperzilla:

There is a black model with silver stripes that was made in 1/18 Scale. I have it in my collection. I have just about all the "rare" 1/18 Scale Versions. I even have the SMS versions.

355!!! where on EARTH did you get those to RT/10's that have been race modified!!! i have a glass display cabinet that holds only race modified vipers in 1/18, and i have NEVER seent those ones!! i simply must have the orange one for my collection....how many were made? who made them? how much $?

No problem. Glad to hear that you like them. Only 100 models of each were made by a company in Germany called SMS. Everyone is after them and I have a few other seriously interested parties since I put the pictures here. As for the price to tell you the truth, on these models the sky is the limit. I have gotten some pretty lucrative offers but I am still waiting to see if they go any higher. If you are seriously interested feel free to make an offer. thanks a bunch for the info Keith, you have some very impressive models in your collection (i'd love to see your PERSONAL collection!) If they are as rare as you say they are, i guess the prices are going to be a tad out of my range! hang on to those, they are incredible.

F355 - who's the manufacturer of that black / silver GTS die-cast?

Well I am not sure which model you are talking about but I only know of a 1/18 Scale Dodge Viper RT/10 being made in that color combo. A GTS was never made in that color combo. You might be able to find it in the smaller scales like 1/43.

As for the 1/18 Scale RT/10 it is made by Bburago.

I've been looking for a GTS black with silver stripes for a while now to go with my car. Unfortunately I haven't had any luck so far. Maybe I'll just have to make my own.

Moparman, I have a custom painted 1:18 scale GTS sitting on top of my tv, and guess what color it is? just the one your looking for actually. I painted it myself one day when i was feeling ambitious, and the stripes are amazing! the only downside is that it's a Bburago model, so the quality is lacking in many departments. (it's an early GTS with the star spoked wheels, not the flat five's) I'll find the pic that I have of it and scan it...hold on
