Has anyone decided to sell there VEC1 possibly b/c they upgraded with the VEC2? If so, email me b/c Id like to buy the VEC1.

There's a guy 30 seconds from my house, who is after $200 for his VEC1, It's been fitted to his GTS but I can vouch it has only ran once for 10 minutes, no display, can arrange his details if you wish. He's got his VEC2 in place now

Neil, if theres no display, I believe it costs like 140.00 by itself. See If he will sell his vec1 for less.
Id like to buy one with the display if possible.

I can't really say....seat of the pants I don't think I could feel 10-15 hp. Try a search and there should be tons of info. I only purchased it because I thought it would be needed with the supercharger. Some say to tune it based on feel in a higher gear....I tuned it with the led 02 meter. I am keeping the 02 box because I have had an 02 meter in another car since 1988 and it is now a good compliment to my wideband 02 meter.
