What is the best video camera mount for the SRT10 and track days that either mounts via suction to the inside of the windshield or via a bar behind the seats? No roll bar in car. Where to buy? I have a small Canon HD unit. Thanks.

I use my GoPro HD camera & mount for the track but you can also use the Panavise 809 Camera Window Suction Cup Mount. It uses the same suction mount as the GoPro unit. I use it to attach multiple cameras. Best of all it's really cheap at Amazon.

I've only had my GoPro HD for a few weeks but i love it.
Simple, easy, TONS of mount options.

My only complaints are about the materials used for some of the mount arms (they should be the same material as the suction cup base), and that there's no gimble option.

Other than that, a solid investment.

Made my own out of a strut tower bar. Kind of crude but works very well.

I use several different mounts, here are some samples that works great for the windshield and exterior body of the Viper.

Sorry for the low resolution, taken from the iphone at low light.

I set up the tri-pod with 2 legs in the rear hatch and 1 leg tucked in beside the seat.
But if that redneck setup doesn't work you can always try duct tape.

I will use it at the Houston club track day 10/24 at MSR. My only concern is the limited visibility on right turns as it will be on the passenger side. Hope you can make it.
