This video of my car was taken during a private track rental. It was my first time at the track with this combo, was there mostly to try and dial in the launch. The clutch didn't like higher rpm launches, it would slip if I left at anything higher than 5000 rpm. These were mostly 4000 rpm launches (1.68-1.71 60' times).

Enjoy!

12 psi boost, approx 900 rwhp on blower. Nitrous in 2nd gear (130 rwhp shot). Bad Boyz dual-disk with aluminum flywheel.

Nice runs! Curious, with a standard Paxton set-up...what are most people running for times?

Yes, around 674 rwhp. Best mph it ran was 134.7 with the stock engine, on a good DA cool day. But, it was mostly a 130-133 car consistently.

You really did make mid 9's look effortless, I'd like to know what it runs without the squeeze as well.....

I planned on running without the bottle later that day, but my trans 2nd gear let go after these passes. Bottle is easily 8-10 mph, I'm estimating. Probably would have gone high 9s at around 142-143.

In the standing mile, the car went 205 mph off the bottle, 209 mph on the bottle. Not a huge difference.

Tony, with the forged rods and pistons swap, could you spray more if you wanted to? Say a 300 shot, maybe with a progressive system to keep the cylinder pressures down some at the lower rpm's but ramped up to 300hp by 5,000 rpm's or so, or would that be too much?

Congrats. Good job of coaxing it off the line without breaking loose. And on streetable tires too.:2tu:

I like that combo. The Paxton would probably go well on my 2001 GTS with the Fat Albert build. It is putting out 563 RWHP NA.

It already has a forged internal engine. And yes, I plan to add more spray. At least 200 with a progressive, direct port.
