Videocam Mounting Questions (Not a Socal Soup Thread - LOL!)

What info can everyone provide on setting up a videocam for recording while driving? I know some of you track stars have this? Options out there for RT/10s?

GTSDean has a setup for GTS's. Contact him and see if it will work for RT's.

Dean's does not work with the RT/10. I've got it on my GTS.

Take a look at it. May be useful for ideas to create your own mount for the RT.

There are a couple of reasons that my mount won't work for an RT. 1) you would have to cut something. 2) there is very little chance that a camcorder would fit in the space available under the sport bar. 3) back glass removal/installation is a challenge. 4) having a mount that sets the camera forward from the GTS position would make it likely to be struck by an occupant's head in a crash.

I've thought about it quite a bit and the risk/botheration factor exceeds the potential rewards.
