My 2013 vehicle VIN # ends in ...........400104. Does that mean the car is the 104th Gen V SRT being built?

0 = 1st gen, 1 = 2nd, 2 = 3rd, 3 = 4th?

I would think not unless you are getting a launch edition. These cars will have a corresponding vin/dash plaque. From what we were told at voi they will build 50 red track packcars as dealer demo cars and then Reboot the vin cycle so it starts a 001 and build the launch editions.

that is what I thought

was told by two different dealers that their launch edition allocations had VIN #'s that ended with the number of the car. Not sure about demo's or regular production though.

Track pack
Red leather
Touring package

Black Stripes - I am not keen on the factory SRT stripe package, I am trying to decide on whether to add them to the order or do after-market, $5,000 for stripes is a slap in the face. I have a fair market price from a high end custom car shop that is less than half that number.

Since the new building is totally dedicated to and equipped for painting the Gen V Viper, it seems appropriate that we pay for what we are getting. Remember, SRT sets the price for the various options. If only the stripes were expensive, we might be able to say Prefix is gouging---but all the options come with a hefty price tag. Those who are happy with SRT models with zero options are getting the best deal of all, IMO. Big bang for the buck...
