I ran to Walmart to grab some oil and a filter for the H2 and I saw Todd's ACR sitting out in the parking lot, so I pulled up next to it to grab a pic.
As I'm getting out of my car, a lady in a minivan is driving down the isle about 2 isles over. She was looking at the Viper's and not where she was going and absolutely tore the side off of a parked Trailblazer! This is third time now I've had someone get in a wreck because they were looking at the car and not where they were going!

Here's a pic of our cars up there, but I didn't want to run over and start snapping pics of the wreck.

Just think of how police officers feel when they are doing their job and some rubber necker sideswipes them or runs the officer completely over. People need to pay attention, you should ask her if she learned her lesson.

I've now had the one yesterday and had a girl looking at my car run into the back of another car at a stoplight, but the funniest one was at a gas station. I pulled in to grab something from inside and a guy was packing out of his parking spot looking at my car and slammed into one of the poles protecting the pumps. He got out of his car, looked at it, looked at me, and said "damn thats embarrassing! Oh well, you've got a badass car!" I just said "thanks" and tried not to die laughing.

Yeah... Vipers also get the attention of Police officers who forget what they were doing and just follow you waiting for you to make a mistake so they can pull you over. I got followed last night for 10 miles from my work all the way to my subdivision.

The bigger issue is this: While driving, your car follows your eyes.

The Viper, especially an ACR/ARY, is a rolling car show. Gawkers have cameras, often have multiple cell phone cameras with passengers. Multiple times I have been blind-spot-hogged by those taking videos. It can even happen on both sides, simultanously. Or one car circles you for 4 photo-views. Claustrophobic. And these gawkers are slowly veering closer because the VIPER is their focus, not their driving.

BE CAREFUL!

I usually just wave at the people with the camera or the video camera. Usually I can tell they feel embarassed, but we both get a laugh out of it. I always wonder if those videos end up on the internet some where.

I get people pull alongside my Viper all the time taking cell phone video and pictures....its a little scary the risks they take. I'm actually surprised I haven't seen their videos on youtube or facebook.

Get a lot of people 'inching over' in the lane next to me.....Of course, I shouldn't be in people's blind spot-anyway. I've learned in this car to pass and pass quickly as I've lost track of how many people are creeping over into my lane / staring out their rear view mirrors as I approach behind them, slowing down to take cell phone pictures, ect..... got to watch it in this car.... I'm very flattered that people are so interested in my car. As a MOPAR fanatic, I love this one more than any other I've owned. Expensive ownership-but love it nevertheless.......

I've also gotten more 'power camry's, mustangs, camaros, etc.' coming up beside me and then punching it than the combined 3 years total of owning my Charger SRT8. There is something about the Viper that just attracts people to want to pull side-by-side and race or take off........ I have nothing to prove and don't feel like getting ticketed or worse yet, losing my car by racing on the street---If I need to get after it--there is always Texas Motor Speedway:)

Did enjoy 1 guy though in a black Smart Car with a flame job on it --who pulled up next to me and was punching it a little ---Love those folks and gave him a thumbs-up!
