Viper Digitally Replaced by C4 Corvette in new Angelina Jolie movie WANTED????

Ok....surely most of you have seen the trailer for the new Angelina Jolie movie coming out called WANTED - the original trailer prominently featured a Dodge Viper being driven by Jolie.

Well today I came upon this "NEW TRAILER" for the movie and it appears the the Dodge Viper has been digitally removed and replaced by a C4 Corvette?

WTH is up with that? Maybe I am missing something and they just cut the Viper out of the trailer - but it did appear that they would cut from new footage of the Vette to the original footage of her inside of the Viper.

The scenes we saw with the Viper look different than the scene with that Vette in it. I'm betting both cars are in the movie

Yeah, that is what I am hoping too. I took a look through the site for the movie and the Viper is still shown in some of the other content. I guess they just cut it out of that particular trailer?

What threw me off was how they cut from the C4 Vette to footage of her inside the Viper (even though they do not show the outside of the car)

Looks like to me that the C4 made a good ramp to flip the Stang

It is about marketing !! And Chrysler has a lot of difficulty with.
You will see many movies where the actors will use a certain brand of product or drive a certain car.
Starbucsk was one of the first advertisers along with Rolex and Omega.

Hollywood movies are one of the most effective advertising methods: You get a World wide and long term exposure. Many companies are ready to pay a lot of money for this. And Hollywood needs this money !

I just went to movies a few days ago. Before movie started they played the "Wanted" preview. It had the Viper in it. Several scenes with the car.

They didn't remove the Viper. Those are totally different scenes. The red Viper coupe is still in the movie, right where they had it before.
