Viper GTS emblems question

What color "Viper GTS" lettered emblems do you guys recommend for a Bumblebee? It has the stock yellow but they just don't look right. Black would be nice but too much? They would match the ACR sticker. On the other hand, chrome would match the chromed ACR wheels. So what do you think? And do they make a raised letter ACR to match the Viper GTS emblem?

Also, I was thinking of removing the rear emblems completely to clean up the rear of the car (especially since that is what most people see, at least for a couple seconds :D ).

Thanks for any insight and a pic of a yellow car with other emblems would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Chad

Can you post some pics of your car???

Or anyway It's a yellow ACR? I could use photoshop to show you a few different versions... red, blue, black, white blablabla... Would be no problem!

I am having the same debate you are. I like the black because it is bold, I like the chrome also. If you search the archives, there are pictures of both set ups.

I think I am going with the black, only because I am not sure how good the chrome emblems would look on the rear bumper. Especially because they already have a section painted black.

I think the silver looks better on yellow. If I did not already put them on, I would get the silver not chrome. I have the silvers on the rear and it is a nice contrast on the yellow. The chrome blends just a little.

Here is a pic of chrome on yellow.

We just did a cruise this past weekend with the NY/NJ/CT VCA memebers and there were 3 yellow snakes. Mine, Dimitrius and a great guy named Steve from albany. His had chrome emblems with the chrome wheels, I think they look great together. Take a look a few posts down at some of the pics you will see his car.

Whoa! Please don't do that sbkim. The red calipers on the other hand, look pretty good on yellow, IMHO.

I think I decided on black for the side of my car and removing the emblems completely from the rear. The black will match the ACR sticker very well and not blend in quite as much as chrome would.

Thanks everyone,

Chad

MS Paint (yeah... well, basics... saving as jpg...)
MGI Photosuite 8.06 (old, but still best)
MGI Photsuite II SE (some cool stuff...)
;) some others...

It's all quite useful for stuff like that.
But most of the time I use it just to mess around with the cars...

i did the chrome on my red r/t 10 and i love it and others really seem to like it... would look sweet on yellow... the black is a touch too dull imho.....

either way though it's still a sweet *** looking snake..... :headbang:

I bought black paint from Micheal's craft shop and did the side emblems in about 1 hour. The paint is in a weather proof pen. Get the fine point and the broad point pens. I also removed the rear emblems because I thought it cleaned up the rear some.

I can post pics if need be. My car is still up op jacks until I get my Black Chrome wheels back next week.

wow - thank god for Photoshop - ok, scratch that McD's color combo. I am leaning towards silver or chrome now.

I am also thinking about debaging the rear - any pics?

BTW, Dennis - where are you in Germany? I am in Munich right now.

Yes, it's black, even changed the front emblem :D I'm thinking about doing the gas cap in black also.
I tried the chrome, very diff to see, the black makes the Race Yellow really jump at you :2tu: Oh! those are my race wheels(Purners of coarse) 17x12-17x13
