I really need to get a steering wheel for my ps3....

I just wish that gran turismo would spend more time on burnout effects. It's not like the graphic systems can't handle all the smoke now.

Has anybody noticed that in Forza Motorsport2 how the Viper sounds like a Viper, and some of the other games that have Vipers, the sound of the car in game sounds like the real thing? I feel as though the Gran Turismo guys could've improved the sound of the car.

Gran Turismo has always sucked big time in the audio and psychics department. I have a PS3, Burnout Paradise has even the ACTUAL viper exhaust note even though the car isn't a viper! I'll unfortunately be sucked into buying GT5 Prologue regardless cause racing games is all I play. I'll get some video from Burnout.

Graphics look good, but MAN -- HIRE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE FIRST THING ABOUT STUDIO RECORDING!!! Every stinkin car sounds like its running in a garage on the dyno. Echo galore.

I'm still buying it :)

It's amazing. The Honda sounds like a Honda, little screamin' demon of a four-******. The Vette even sounds like a big honkin' V8. The Viper, sounds a lot like...dare I say it....a Nissan Maxima. As a musician and one with a very selective ear, sound is everything. Tone is everything. It's why I am very particular of the way my music is recorded or set up live, the way an instrument is recorded or used/played, and of course, the way a car sounds, whether its the exhaust note, BOV, supercharger, turbo etc. With all the different parts available for the Viper, each one I hear sounds different.

Obviously a Japanese guy sitting in that car...there's like a foot of headroom. :D
Even at 6'2", all I see out the front of my car is the massive hood. This rendering has the overall hood shape but the perspective is all wrong.
