Chuck, You don't have a real 49 Indian chief do you? Matching numbers? I said in my post above I'm done with bikes but I'd pay stupid money for an original matching numbers 1949 Chief. As stated above I sold my 1953 (in 45 min on ebay to someone halfway around the world), but I'd be on your doorstep tomorrow if your 49 (matching numbers) was available. When I had my 02 FE, I had an FXDX Dyna Super Glide for a while. Sold the Harley after about 6 months of owning the Viper, I figured if it was nice enough to ride the Harley, it was Viper weather....

Yeah, neither do I, and I've ridden more than a few. I only wish Harley (including Buell) or some other domestic bike maker would make a serious performance machine. Instead, I've still got my 1990 ZX-11 (one of the first ZX-11's made), although its no longer the fastest motorcycle made, it might still be in the top ten.
