Charlie,

Found this a while ago, but requires a minimum purchase of 10 jackets:

web page

Will see if I can get some of my SoCal Viper friends interested in a package purchase. Maybe you could try to arrange the same in your region.

Between the two of us we might be able to make this work. :headbang:

I might be interested and maybe some others in IL. I just don't want to look like we are in a motocycle gang. Do they come in defferent styles and or colors?

Good Question!

Answer:

web page :)

Maybe a bit more discreet, but set-up fee still applies for minimum of 10.

Either way, I do not think that anybody wearing either jacket would or should ever be mistaken for a motorcycle gang member, JMHO!

Hope this helps.

If there is enough interest, I will contact the vendor and see if we can mix and match for a total of 10.

Anybody seriously interested, send me a PM and we will take it from there.

I may be interested. Although, I wouldn't want SRT-10 on mine for obvious reasons. Just "Viper" with no particular model designation would be preferable, for me anyway.

Any idea on price? I didn't see anything on the link.

Hello:

I just contacted the dealer for the above and will have more info for everyone. We were looking at something like this for the AZ club, I will see if we can set it with them, cause I know you need to buy in bulk to keep the cost down. I will keep you guys posted if you are interested.

Thanks

Hehehe, no we won't look like a biker gang. My corvette buddies sport some real nice jackets that they bought from www.mamotorworks.com and they have quite a selection of them there. I've been having a hard time finding Viper leather jackets and Viper apparel.

CB,

Thanks for the info! The one from Dodge might fit me if I go on a crash diet and lose about 50 lbs.

Personally, I prefer the first one I mentioned in the early portion of this thread.

This being said, I fully understand that this is a matter of personal taste, therefore very subjective. The embossed one is certainly more subtle or at least more discreet. If we can mix and match, I might order one of each.

SoCal Vipers will meet this Saturday in Malibu (yes, about a quarter mile from where the last wildfire took out some very pricey ocean front real estate this week) and I will bring it up with my friends and see how many orders can be generated in SoCal. We have four groups meeting on different Saturdays across SoCal, and I visit with most of them on a regular basis.

Anybody else interested, let me know.

I'd be interested in the more subble, embossed, no other color version. Personally, I'm not interested in a flashy, multi-colored Nascar jacket. I like them, just not on me.

Several days ago I emailed the company in the link above to inquire about the embossed jackets. I asked if I could purchase just one?, price?, if not one what was the minimum order?, price of each in quantity?

They have some pricing of their colored jackets on their site, but not the embossed ones (that I could find anyway).

Response was that they are working with the VCA on putting an order together and that they forwarded my email to them. Company did not answer any of my four questions.

Hi Bob and fellow VCA members:

I actually got the email fowarded to me as well as a phone number for another VCA member that was interested in buying one.

The AZ VCA has ordered a few samples from him for the local members to view and for us to check on the quality of the product. We should be getting those in about 3 weeks.

We have made arrangements with the owner that the AZ VCA Club will become the supplier, it was his choice to only have one person to deal with. As soon as we get the Jackets in, I will let everyone know.

As far as prices are concerned, there is a minimum order of 12 (per style) and the prices change as quantities change.

Different colors are available but there is an additional cost of $50 to $75 depending on color(s) and styles.

We are hoping that we will be able to have a substantial order placed in mid Feb (after getting the ones we just order) to keep the cost down for everyone. We have been told that when we make this order in mid Feb. they will be ready in time for Zone Rendevous on March 24th and 25th in AZ.

If anyone would like more info you can feel free to contact me or the VP for the AZ Club, I am helping him out with this venture.

Good info. Glad to hear the AZ club has taken the lead on this. With the freezing weather you guys have gotten lately, you'll need them. :D

Seriously, glad to hear you're getting samples to judge quality, etc. I'd be more than happy to champion an effort to the OH VCA members. Still the AZ clubs deal with $$ and ordering and all but I could at least talk it up in OH and help get the volume up.

Personally, I'm after: Black lambskin jacket with embossed word "Viper" and the embossed Fangs logo on the back. No color, no model designation. I am, however, very curious as to the quality of the embossed process. Wouldn't be too cool if it started becoming non-embossed over time.

Thanks for your efforts and let me know what I can do to help,

Hi everyone:

We are finalizing the details as we speak. We got the jackets in yesterday and they are better than I thought. The quality is great and the design is awesome. The embossed jackets are well made. From looking at them I don't think they will flatten over time (please keep in mind, I don't know if in 20 years it will not, but from the way they look, they should lat for a long time).

Our plans are to have a big order filled and placed by the 26th or so, this will assure us that the jackets will be ready by Luke Days (March 23rd) in AZ.

As far as price, it depends on volume so we are not sure. For all of you who would like to see how the jackets look like, you can go visit their site http://www.custom-leather-jackets.com/index.html . Noticed that they have 2 styles, the embossed and cut and stitch.

The jackets look exactly like the ones on the internet. You can get fangs or sneeky pete on either jackets styles. Standard colors on the cut and stitch are black and red.

As far as size goes, they are on par with any other jacket. For example, I wear large jackets and the large size fits me perfect.

I was just helping out with this to get started, the person you will need to contact is the AZ VP's wife. So as soon as she is ready and figure out all the details. I will let everyone know. We have an event tomorrow so we will have all the details by then and I will post an update as soon as possible.

Thanks for your understanding.

Not crazy about the Viper across the front, maybe just on the left side and small would be good, embossed is nice but whats on the front of that?

The front of the embossed one has nothing in the front. It is actually very classy.

I will probably buy 1 of each.

Can the Embossed version be ordered with just the word "Viper" on the back with a logo? ie. no model designation.

If so, I'm in for one of those.

It would be helpful if the manufacturer could provide some guidance on sizing. Personally, I wear a 44 suit jacket. I checked on some other leather jackets I own, some are large, others are XL. Some sort of indication of sizing could prevent a lot of frustration for everyone.

Thanks for putting this all together,

Hi Bob:

I am sure we can do that, but on the embossed jackets if we wanted to redo the design, we need to pay for a new plate which cost about $200.00. So at this point, unless we have more orders, we are thinking about keeping it simple and having them with the SRT-10 on it. Maybe if we get enough orders, that cost could be off set by volume.

Last Sat. at our local event, we had some great response to them and I think we are getting a few orders placed as we speak. If you guys are interested let me know, we are planning on putting in an order next week so that they will be ready for Luke Days.

As far as colors are concern (for the cut and stitch jackets), you can get them in any color combo you want but depending on what you want, the jackets will run about $50-$75 more than the standard red and black.

Thanks

Be, thanks for the info, pm sent.

ANYONE out there that would be interested in an embossed jacket with just the word "Viper" on the back and the Fangs logo, please pm me. If we can get a few of us together interested in this design we can spread the cost of the new plate as described above. I'll forward our names on to the AZ VCA.

Thanks!

Is it still possible to get the embossed Viper Jacket with Fangs.
In a 2XLT, how much is it and how do you pay for it?
Thanks
