This Monday, on CSI Miami there should be some shots with my Viper in it. Have not seen the footage, but they rented my Silver SRT for a couple days to fit into their plot.

Not even sure 100% that it will make the show, but they told me to look for it on Monday.

CSI Miami shows different times in different regions, but in LA it should be on Monday.

The producer promised me a DVD of the show, but knowing Hollywood, I would not be expecting it for sure, so if someone can make a DVD I would appreciate it.

They substituted a Porsche for it. That's okay, it was used by a murderous closet *** guy to pick up and kill his date in. The producers must have realized a Boxster was more a more believable car in that situation than a Viper.

LOL! That was a good one. How about a Miata instead of the Porsche. LOL!

I saw a Viper on a CSI episode last week. It was the episode where a carshow model was killed. When the cops are talking to the carshow producer guy, you can see the front bumper of a SRT in the background. It wasnt silver though b/c I remember thinking about your car and wondering if they borrowed someone else's Viper as well.

It's just as well as the car was a rental anyway.
Did anyone notice how poor the writing was on that episode? (F355? anyone?)

Yeah I must say it was a weird episode. I still am not sure which one is the best. How about the fact that we do not hear anything about the eye of the detective? Stressed it for weeks and then nothing.

man, cmon, first your cars is gonna be in the next Fast & Furious, and now this....If your car is in California, why don't they just rent one in Miami? I'm sure it's be cheaper for them.

Uh... CSI:Miami is actually filmed in Southern California. So, its actually cheaper to rent a Viper in California than to have to get one in Miami and ship it to California.

Anyone remember the show "Silk Stalkings"? Which was supposed to take place in West Palm Beach, Fl? It was filmed in Southern California - in fact, almost all of the external locations were in San Diego. This was a bit weird when I recognized many of the places as less than a few miles from where I lived (when I lived in San Diego). Most of the opening shots were filmed within a block of where I worked at the time (Mira Mesa Blvd & I-805).

That is so funny. They think they are slick with all the Miami aerial shots and then acutally filmed in CA. Once again, I definitly learned something new today.

Allow me to ammend my previous comment (I did a bit of a google search to verify my earlier statement). Many of the exterior shots are obviously filmed in Miami; those that are unique to the area, I assume, such as canals with alligators, etc, but many (most) are also filmed in the L.A. CA area, where I assume most/all of the internal shots are filmed (probably in Burbank).

That is pretty interesting to learn. I would have never guessed. I love that show though. I really do not know why either. Also, is it me or did they used to have a lot more exotics last season?

Thanks Jay.

I was disapointed last Monday. Maybe next Monday will be the charm.

It is a Silver SRT. They had two vehicles. One is a roller provided by Dodge. No engine/Driveline. They claim they wanted mine for the rolling shots.

Hope not to see any donuts. ;)

Yeah. They rented my car for several times, and only showed it for a few seconds. Glad the carbon fiber dash made the cut.

The car they were "chopping" was a non-drivable unit, I believe provided by Dodge.

I really liked the "exploded" view where all the body panels lifted off the car with some great graphics. If anyone got a digital recording of that, maybe we can show it at VOI in Vegas.
