viper owner here having troubles with the new site

i have been a member on this site since december of 2001 with over 1500 posts. i went into the "user CP" section on this site and updated my "profile" info in order to get my "owner" status back because the site is listing me as an "enthusiast". i gave my vin # info and the site is still listing me as an "enthusiast". can anybody help me to get my "viper owner" status back.

there are still a few bugs to work out. this may be one of them. make sure everything is correct and saved in your control panel settings. the final bugs will be worked out soon. this may be one of them.

please notice, that i have an avatar, a signature and it says "vca member". i can do it, and i know you can too.

go to "user cp", then control panel, the edit profile picture. there is a blank in there asking for your vin# in order to be listed as an owner. make sure this area is filled in and it should work.

Y2K5SRT and big-n-italian thanx for the help. now that i am listed as a viper owner i am still having problems. when i go into the "user CP" area of the site and then go to "edit avatar" it is not letting me do anything. there are no options given to me to allow anychanges whatsoever to my avatar. also in the "user CP" section there is no option given for me to edit my sig which like my avatar has dissapppeared as well.

Gang, we have decided that we are reserving the avatar and signature features for our VCA Members at this time. This site involves a tremendous amount of time and money to run and we would like to "reward" those that help support it. Thanks for your understanding.

you are welcome, but as chris has said, a new policy exists now that only VCA members can have sigs and avatars.

isnt the new forum GREAT?! a new look, VERY FAST, etc. i encourage everyone to now JOIN the VCA and show your support and appreciation for the awesome easter gift that has been given to us today!
