Hey I have noticed most of you guys who post pics have amazing detail in your Viper photos....i was wondering what type of digital camera you guys use that can make such a perfectly clear pic, and if there is a specific setting....I have one of the Kodak Easy shares, and just doesn't do the job...what type should i buy to take perfect pics...like you guys??? Thanks.

I have a Nikon D70 and love it. It is really an amazing camera. Plus everyone in my family has Nikons so we can swap lenses.

That would have been my next choice Blake but I didn't have the moolah at the time. :D

I have two cameras which I use. My professional camera is a Olympus SP-500 UZ. It takes pics at 6.0 mega pixels which is the beginner level of clear. I got it at Best Buy for around $300.

Now if your looking for a good entry level camera I suggest looking at something with 3-5 mega pixels. These have good picture quality and should be able to upload your pictures directly to the site without having to resize it. (That's the price you pay when you get a more expensive model.) I have a 2.0 mega pixel Canon Powershot A60. It's about 2-3 years old but I got alot out of it. I now use it to make my movies.

Now about that Nikon. I've never used one before but I would deff want one. My friend Jason, who's also into photography, has had his for about a year. The D70 is about as clear as you can get. HOWEVER, It's $900 for the stock film model and $1000 for the digital SLR D70 but in the end the picture quality rules over anything else despite how BIG the picture can be.

The Kodak easy share is a fine system to use. However you need to make sure that your camera is at least 4 Megapixels. 5 Megapixels is all you really need unless you plan on blowing up pictures beyond 8 1/2 x 11. If your camera is already at least a 4 MP then make sure that your camera is set to the highest quality setting. (Under menu)

If your like me and want to just take casual pictures at events like Viper cruises the most important thing is the camera be as small as possible so you WILL take it with you when you go places. You want one that literally will fit in your shirt pocket or on your hip and you don't even know it's there. I like the small Canon ultra portables like the SD450 (5 MP) as shown here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/

Again, you will bring it with you much more if it's the size of a pack of cigarettes or less like these. The battery life is great, and the SD disk will hold 500 shots.

D's camera is also fantastic, very small and takes movies too.

I have always used the Canon S series (currently an S500) for easy to carry, point and shoot digital shots.

If you want to take professional style shots, go with one of the SLRs, the Canon 20D is very nice.

Any of the cameras they have out now should do. It's more about the lighting and scene, like Dimitrios picture, the black car looks awesome(cloudy day soft lighting) but the yellow car in the picture looks not so good. Many really cool pictures you see have been photoshoped, where you can sharpen a picture just a little to make it look better. With the digital cameras use the shotgun style, shoot a bunch and one is bound to hit the target. Photoshop elements is a cheap program that should do really cool photo enhancements.
