Viper powered AC Cobra kit car is on ebay

I know I saw this car here some time ago. Looks nicely built, but the V10 badges look like they are off an Excursion.

The buy-it-now price is $85K. Could probably get it for the price of a new GenIII . Although it would be a nice toy, not sure why a $10K motor/trans in an otherwise $35K car would fetch anywhere near $85K.

A real 289 Cobra sold at Barrett Jackson this year for 350K. The car on Ebay is worth about 1/10 of that price.

There is a guy in Ohio who goes by Double Venom who does some great Viper powered Cobras. He puts on a big party every spring that brings in hundreds of Shelby's from across the country.

I'm sure you all know better than to put any credibility into the BJ auction prices. There is so much corruption there, it'd would blow your mind...specifically on "Shelby" vehicles.

A friend of mine's brother sold his 1963 Cobra CSX 2128 at the Russo & Steele auction in Phoenix last month. Car has Shelby Race Team history. It went for $1,975,000, before commission.
