What do you guys think the interest would be on selling these? All leather racing seat with cut-outs for 5-points and the Viper emblem, instead of the Z06 emblem shown here, in the headrests. In your choice of colors at a price of about $2500 per set.

I would love new seats!!
i dont think stock are supportive enough,

the 5 pt option i like and they look good but do they have
back support for long road trips.

Here is what we need make a good looking upgraded seat with 5pt cut outs for my 2001 yellow rt for around $1500 total
and you will have a winner!!!

if i could afford $2500-$3000 for new seats i would have had venzanos right from day one!

cost that is the key.

i think if upgraded seats were quality and resonablely priced
everyone on that owns a viper would swap them out.
because stock seats just ****
pissed.gif

that is why for 2003 they get upgraded seats.
keep me posted

I am just shooting high on prices so I can hopefully go down on the price when they are ready instead of up. Everyone wants cheap but they want quality. The leather Cobra racing seats are $2000 each so I am trying to be competative and still look at making a profit. I have put some emails into a few seat manufacturers to see what kind of a discount I can get. When I find a good looking seat at a reasonable price then I will know more on prices. Thanks.

Sorry that is not a race seat. There is no extra support visible than the stock seat has. This might be a nice seat for the show crowd posers here, but anyone who is seriously using the car won't be looking at this.

I have to agree with Daddy-o. A real race seat is much deeper and more supportive and generally has a fixed back. They are never leather, because leather is too slippery (they may have suede in high wear locations). Finally, a top quality Sparco, Momo or other composite, FIA seat will be well under $1000 each.

The seat is nice looking, but no performance improvement over stock IMO.

what would look good is a driving seat not race seat
that is just black leather with yellow stiching
and that is it.
of course more "padding" to make the seats more supportive
but not colored leather all over it.

dont want to be a ricecar.
