No, the one I was really interested in at Dallas sold before I could get some eyes on it but there are a lot out there. I'm patient but I'll be in one by years end.

The pictures don't do the car justice. Some cars look better in pictures and some are better in person. All Vipers look better in person and the Gen V is no exception. Here's an example of a car that I thought looked great in pictures but god awful in person when I test drove one the other day.

While I'm not saying I don't like it (have never found a generation I don't like) some just appeal to me more than others. What I will agree with is none look as good in pictures as they do in person. I expect this one to be no different, which those that have seen it say the pictures don't do it justice. So I will reserve judgement until I see one in person, but love that they returned to the rounded lines.
Great high quality video of it here.
But the sad thing is that when it was next to the Dodge Neon, and both cars were reving their engines, the Neon's exhaust sounded meaner than the Viper's.

LOL. Well to be fair I believe I saw an interview where Ralph said they are still working on the exhaust note. Anyway I'll take that V10 sound over 4cyl flatulence any day.

For some reason this plain red doesn't do it for me on the Gen 5, maybe it will grow on me later but for now I'm liking the Candy Apple-ish red more
