Viper Seat Belt Warning...

Yes, I know this thread is 8 years old but it's the only one I've found so far on the issue. Was this seatbelt thing ever sorted out? Had a guy stop and talk to me about a buddy of his that had an 02, he said the belt snapped, but I'm guessing un buckled is really what he meant after reviewing this thread.

There was no recall, no TSB, no mandatory design change.

The link (from a previous post) to the canadian seat belts is not working. Can anyone provide a link to seatbelts that can be used and are safe. I would like to replace mine.
