Has anyone taken the Viper seats and had them custom fitted to a 2004 Dodge 1 ton Quad Cab truck? If so, how much work and money was involved and if it was worth it?

As the stock truck seats in the SLT (leather) are junk.

Thanks

Haven't seen it done in a Ram but it's a very common mod for daks. Some 1" square tubing is all you need to adapt the stock rails to the viper seats. Takes a couple hours to get everything converted but it's not too bad. These seats may be a bit too narrow for a Ram tho, and you will probably lose the foldup center console. Most of us use the console thats independant of the seats so it's not something i've ever looked into.

Seats themselves will run you $4-600 each for Gen II which is what you want. IMO the Gen III aren't nearly as comfortable.

Here's a pic of some in a CC 00' dak r/t.

History in the making. You are the first person EVER to say the Gen III seats are less comfortable than the Gen II.

Looks good, Then into the Gen 3, 1 tons it should be just as easy a fit.
