I just installed the 2010 Viper ACR short shifter knob on my 2005 Viper. It is just great.
I would like to show a comparison of some of the knobs available.
I found different post in this site but I could not find detailed pictures and measurements
The long one (3.5 inch shaft) is the 2005 Viper standard knob.
The middle is the Mopar 2010 Dodge Viper ACR Short Shift Knob Black Stitching - 1SZ091X9AA (2.25 inch shaft). Fits 2003 to 2010
The short one is the aftermarket Gripper Knob ( 1.50 inch shaft).
Push leather boot down. Use a 17 mm and 19 mm wrench. Cover shifter bezel with towel to avoid scratches.
15 minutes.
