Viper, Small block bolt pattern

Since I'm looking at various transmission solutions for my Viper is one option to go with a race prepped 727 or 904, so the question is...is the bolt pattern (block to bell housing) identical to a std Chrysler small block or...?
If I'm not missinformed is the V10 designed with a 360 as base...

Yeah it is 360 based, though that is the only thing I can confirm for you. I'm sure someone else will respond.
