Vipers qualified well at Sebring, with Practice times being the basis for grid position with rain cancelling Thursday qualifying. Wolf Henzler was on the Pole, with his GT3 Porsche, and the driver who won both of his races in 2004, may show SCCA that the lack of any restrictions may give the flattened Volkswagen and inherent edge over the rest of the field. With Cadillac, Viper, Audi, and Corvette being given numerous changes for 2005, the Porsche, due to limited runs and drivers was given a strong hand to start the Season. It will be interesting to see how the Deutschland Destroyer does with added ballast if it wins right away. The grid looks good for the Snakes, even with the huge restrictor plate for 2005. See below:

nd Tommy Archer
rd Phil McClure
th Mike McCann
th Tim Wiens
th Bob Woodhouse
th Jim McCann
th Mike Hartley
th Lenny Diller
th Brett Pearson
th Kenny Hawkins
st Warren Diller
nd Adel Elsayed
