Any way to tighten visor? Top down ,nail it a little visor comes down hits me in head ,hat goes flyin.Passenger side is good,needs to be stiffer where it has the rolling action to go up or down.All I see is the two screws that actually hold on the visor.Maybe its a takeoff item.

I agree Paul. When mine were new they would stay in the up position while driving. That was highly desireable to reduce the cabin heat. Now they only stay up for a few seconds so I find myself holding it up to cool the cabin. Need to find a non-destructive way to make them stay in place.

Try the Visor Extender the Visor positions will say put, ducting air exactly where you want it.

It looks like the visor extender connects the 2 visors using a clear panel. That does not work once the visors lose the stiffness and move more freely. My desire is not to lengthen the visor but to make it stay in position, deflecting the air downward (course it would be even better if I did not need to cool the cabin in the first place).

I have looked at both of the additions (visor and wind baffle). Unfortunately both look too much like an add-on than I prefer. For the price (both the car and the add-ons) I expect an appearance that would be acceptable on a $85k car.

Ron,your 2 cents is well spent. Just got back-in from a top down ride,same results. My fix will be most likely removal & that way I dont need to deal with stickers either.Everytime I get in this baby I like it more & more.

Paul, when you drive your SRT in hot weather, you will definitely want the visor. Having it in an upright position has a huge effect on cabin heat----I mean HUGE. I find myself holding it up on the freeway, just like Ron is describing. At least mine stays up until I hit 70 mph, so it's good around town. If some one comes up with a solution to this problem, I'll be a buyer.The California guys, who do a lot of north-south driving on 99, 101, I-5, etc. have a different problem, too. Since the visor doesn't swing to the side, sun glare is a real issue for them.

The Visor Extender mounts to the top of each visor and is not visible from the outside. And the Velcro cinch straps match the visor color. An SRT-10 with the baffle and Extender doesn't have an add on look at all, they are seen. (See Boxster, SC430, 350Z, TT and S2000 with clear windblockers) And the material is MR-Lexan scratch resistant unbrakable same as race car and jet windshields.
