A lot of us don't do most or all of our own work. The Viper tech's that lovingly care for our cars and sometimes lose money or at best break even are never likely to own one.I would like to see an allotment of free tickets, passes etc become available to various Viper events through the VCA and Dodge.VOI,Viperdays etc.If the response was too great for the allotment then a free chance raffle could be used.Invite them to come and camp at Viper days.Provide gate passes and meals.Tickets to VOI.Or heavily discounted tickets. What does everyone else think? Tom Sessions, our Favorite and Best Viper Tech, was a guest of the Carolinas Region members at VOI. Tom trailered one club member's car to the event and fulfilled his ViperDays tech inspection duties, as well, but participated in the banquets and activites courtesy of the local club. Viper HQ was happy to work with us to make this happen.

Same as Janni,

Eddie Martin, AZ top tech was at VOI. Track support during the day and party with us at night. He also has top support from the Dealer (Bill Luke Dodge) and his Region club. He's part of us.

Bruce,
A few of us in Houston pitched in to make sure the Northwest Dodge Viper tech could attend. The cost was nothing considering what Carlos does for us.

I totally agree. Our club in San Antonio and a lot of guys up in Austin take their cars to David Weaver at Maxwell Dodge. We drive the car 80 miles north to have him work on it. David and his guys work hard to make you a happy camper and treat you like a Viper owner likes to be treated. I would think the Dodge boys would treat them to at least an invite even if they dont own a Viper they damm sure spend tons of hours on them. I know they read the board so just for them....PAY ATTENTION DODGE BOYZ.

GTS Bruce,
EXCELLENT SUGGESTION! These are the guys that take great care of us and our SNAKES after the sale. Coat tailing on your idea maybe DC or VCA National could sponsor a " VIPER TECH OF THE YEAR AWARD " that VCA members could vote on to determine the recipient. Maybe even have one award in each Region or Zone and sponsor their attendance with spouse and present Awards at the main dinner. Most of us tip our Techs now and as several above have indicated their local Clubs have sponsored the attendance of their Tech. If VCA National or DC can't fund I believe most VCA members would be willing to chip in. However, I believe DC should consider this suggestion seriously as an opportunity to recognize and reward the extra effort of these Techs that keep their VIPER customers happy. Great morale building opportunity for the Dealer Network and DC Corporate.

Huffines Dodge of Lewisville, Texas ViperTech,Keith Laxson, was in attendance at VOI as well and even helped repair one of the Dodge trucks used in the off-road event. Keith's dealership sponsored his trip and are due a vote of thanks for helping Keith represent our area.

Thanks Huffines
